Simone Maurice Selected for the 2025 Company 3 Post Production Mentorship

Women in Film & Television – Toronto (WIFT+ Toronto) is thrilled to announce that Simone Maurice is the 2025 recipient of the WIFT+ Toronto Company 3 Post Production Mentorship.

Simone Maurice is a team leader and collaborator with a passion for post production, documentary, and creative and strategic visual storytelling. Her career began as a producer and host of Dance Moves (Stornoway Communications/BPM TV) and as the founder of an online dance-instruction startup. She eventually attended the Canadian Film Centre Media Lab’s Interactive Art and Entertainment program.

Her career spans several roles as a writer and content manager at Marble Media Interactive, Taste Buds, The Adrenaline Project, 9 Story Media Group’s Best Ed; documentarian to Juno Award-winning singer and songwriter Jully Black and Post Production Management Professional at Moxie Pictures, Carnegie Hall, and Droga5.

Simone now works with top-tier multiple Academy and EmmyAward-winning creative teams in key post production supervisory and producing roles. This includes recent titles such as Louis Armstrong: Black & Blues (Imagine Documentaries/Apple Films), Celebrity IOU (Scott Brothers Entertainment/Discovery), Bill Cosby: The Brilliance and Betrayal (See It Now Studios/BET) and more.

The Company 3 Toronto Post Production Mentorship places an emerging producer in on intensive three-week immersive experience at Company 3’s world-class facility in downtown Toronto.
