Production Accounting Intensive

ABOUT

NEW! Our 2-day Production Accounting Intensive workshop explores the role of the Production Accountant and their team within the accounting department.

Participants will closely examine the production accounting process and cycle, forms and other tools that are commonly implemented as well as best practices that are followed within the department, as a team and as they report up the chain of command. The participants will explore corporate structures, communication methods with key stakeholders, cashflows, techniques to control costs through cost reports, budget templates, audit prep, GST/HST and the overall workflow of the accounting department.

This workshop will include lectures and hands-on exercises (as a group and individually) to put the content into practice. In addition to digital handouts and templates, participants are expected to have access to Google Sheets for use during some exercises.
