Honouring Women in Screen-Based Media
Established in 1988, the Crystal Awards have brought together business, government and media from across the country to celebrate annually the outstanding achievements of women in Canadian screen-based media. Conceived as an event to recognize and promote exceptional women in film and television, the Crystal Awards are acknowledged today as one of the industry’s most prestigious accolades.
Since 1988, more than 90 remarkable women and men have received Crystal Awards. Many of today’s senior executives and industry leaders are past recipients of a Crystal Award – a testament to women’s contributions to Canada’s global entertainment community.
The next Crystal Awards Gala Luncheon will take place on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.
