Thank you for all the submissions to the 2026 WIFT+ Toronto Showcase. We (and the jury) look forward to reviewing each submission!
Each spring, we host a special screening of short works by our members, including films (documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental) as well as TV and web series episodes. Our annual WIFT+ Toronto Showcase highlights the creativity, talent, and diversity of our community.
The following prizes are awarded at the WIFT+ Toronto Showcase:
Best of Showcase
Best Writing
Best Directing
Audience Choice
Best of Showcase, Best Writing, and Best Directing are determined by a jury composed of WIFT+ Toronto members. In the last five years, WIFT+ Toronto has awarded more than $90,000 in cash prizes to Showcase winners through support from the Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto and the generous donations we recieve from our sponsors and community partners.

WIFT+ Member Regular Ticket $35 +HST | Available Wednesday, April 1 (make sure you are signed in to purchase - maximum of 2 per member)
General Public Ticket $45 +HST | Available Wednesday, April 8
Limited discounted advance tickets are available to current WIFT+ Toronto members for one week before going on sale to the public.
