You do not have to be a WIFT+ Toronto member to nominate someone to the Board of Directors. However, the candidate must be a WIFT+ Toronto Full Member in good standing at the time of voting.

NOMINEE ELIGIBILITY
The Nominee must be a Full Member of WIFT+ Toronto in good standing or, if selected as a Board candidate, must become a Full Member within ten (10) business days following the Annual General Meeting.
Nominees must commit to serving their first 2-year term as a Director upon election at the AGM.
Selected nominees may be invited to join either the WIFT+ Toronto or the Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto Board of Directors
We strongly encourage nominations for individuals in underrepresented communities. All genders welcome to apply.

2026 BOARD SLATE & WIFT+ TORONTO ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
In March, the Nominating Committee will contact all nominees to confirm their interest and commitment and set up an interview. The Board nomination slate will be announced publicly in April, prior to the AGM. All Full Members of WIFT+ Toronto are eligible to vote for the Board of Directors.
The 2026 WIFT+ Toronto Annual General Meeting will take place, in-person, in April 2026
