“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.” — Oprah Winfrey

Our 2016 WIFT-T membership survey revealed that a top need among our members is mentoring. Both emerging and experienced members expressed a desire to either receive guidance via mentorship or to mentor emerging professionals in the industry.

WIFT Connect is our answer to that call.

Through WIFT Connect, members of different experience levels will learn from, guide, and support each other through a series of focused one-on-one and group meet-ups over a six-month period.

Program Objectives: Mentees

  • Build your community (support network) and by extension, your confidence
  • Learn more about a specific sector or role in the industry
  • Set career and personal development goals
  • Invest in peer-to-peer learning
A message for our 2017-2018 participants:
We don’t have many “rules” around our WIFT Connect Program, but here are a few guidelines. We ask that you read them, and acknowledge your understanding and compliance.
