Banff World Media Scholarship (Not offered in 2017): Provides one female WIFT-T member with mid-to-senior management experience with a full delegate pass to attend the Banff World Media Festival.
CBC Business of Broadcasting Mentorship: Provides one emerging Canadian female broadcasting professional with the opportunity to experience a unique look at CBC Television from “behind the screen”, through a comprehensive week-long workshop. Also, includes a WIFT-T programming pass.
Deluxe Toronto Post-Production Mentorship: This three-week onsite mentorship provides one entry-level Canadian female producer with hands-on post-production training at Deluxe’s world-class post-production facility in downtown Toronto.
DGC Ontario Director Mentorship: The DGC Ontario Director Mentorship provides one emerging Canadian female director a two-phase training opportunity. The first focuses on business training leading up to the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), including one-on-one meetings with experienced industry advisors. The second phase is a creative mentorship taking place post-TIFF. Paired with a DGC Ontario Director member, the mentee will receive invaluable advice and guidance on overall skills and/or project specific creative approaches.
William F. White Production Manager Mentorship: Provides one emerging Canadian female production manager with hands-on training, and career mentorship with an experienced female production manager over 10 days. Hands-on learning about production equipment for digital projects, television and film equipment planning, resource management, and budget planning is included, along with a WIFT-T programming pass.
