Thank you to all participants, instructors, and partners of our 2017 Digital Media Bootcamp

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Over four days, content creators will learn about the technical environments available to tell their stories and distribute their work – plus effectively manage project deadlines and budgets.

Participants will leave confident with the gained understanding of what it takes to get original and/or digital extension projects successfully executed. This intensive 28-hour program will cover interactive storytelling, multi-platform integration, brand and audience development, funding, planning and building the project, and NEW THIS YEAR – CONTENT CREATION (writing component).

A catered lunch is provided each day.

DATE + LOCATION

The 2017 Digital Media Bootcamp ran from July 10 – 13, and was held at Young Place for the Performing Arts (50 Tank House Lane).


ELIGIBILITY

This program is recommended for professionals with previous media experience, who have a strong desire to refresh or upgrade their knowledge in the rapidly growing digital media industry.

This program is open to women and men, WIFT-T members and non-members. Participants must be a:

  • Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant or Permanent Resident
  • Media professional with at least one previous production credit in film, TV or digital media is recommended

PROGRAM FEES

WIFT-T Members: $400 + HST
Non-Members: $530 + HST
