Explore the life’s work and stories of internationally acclaimed Abenaki filmmaker, artist, and activist Alanis Obomsawin in The Children Have to Hear Another Story!
Organized by Richard William Hill and Hila Peleg, the exhibition will feature unprecedented access not only to Obomsawin’s films, but also to the archives related to their production. Presented decade by decade, it is a comprehensive overview of her films, artworks, prints, and music along with ephemera, documents, and media coverage that provide new insight into her work. Free admission and all are welcome!
