The AGM will be 1 hour in length, followed by a networking reception.

Voting By Proxy
WIFT+ Toronto FULL Members in good standing are eligible to vote on the following:
(i) Appointment of the 2025-2026 WIFT+ Toronto Board of Directors
(ii) Appointment of Auditors for 2025
(iii) Approval of the updated Articles of Amendments and ByLaws
If you are a WIFT+ Toronto Full Member, you are eligible to vote on these appointments, regardless of AGM attendance. If you're unsure of your membership status, please email membership@wift.com.
All voting will be conducted via proxy in advance of the AGM. Votes will not be accepted after the deadline or live at the meeting.

2025–2026 WIFT+ Toronto Board Nomination Slate Details
Stephanie Wilson Chapin – Strategic Partner Lead, TV & Film, News & Sports, YouTube
Stephanie Wilson Chapin is a dynamic and passionate leader who has been immersed in the media industry for over two decades. With an extensive background in digital strategy, product management, marketing, consumer research, and editorial strategy, she has consistently demonstrated her expertise in transforming ideas into tangible, data-driven solutions that generate substantial revenue. In her role at YouTube, Stephanie leads partner engagement and revenue and content strategy for partners in the TV, Sports and News verticals.
Prior to YouTube, Stephanie spent many years at Bell Media, where she held various roles managing the CTV, CTV News, TSN and Crave digital businesses. Through her career, she also managed digital strategy and content for The Globe and Mail, Harlequin and Sympatico / MSN.
Sara McLaren – Director, Communications & Partnerships, Bell Media
As Director of Communications and Partnerships, Bell Media, Sara oversees the communications and partnership strategy for Canada’s largest media company.
Sara is responsible for leading innovative PR tactics and nurturing brand voice for all of Bell Media’s brands in both English Canada and Québec, as well all associated content, platforms, and talent. In addition, Sara directs Bell Media’s industry partnership portfolio, reinforcing the company’s leadership position through strategic relationships with key Canadian industry organizations.
Prior to joining Bell Media in 2007, Sara was Director of Publicity at MapleMusic Recordings, an independent record label focused on releasing and promoting Canadian talent.

2025–2026 Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto Board Announcement
The Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto Board of Directors is thrilled to announce they have invited Laura Clunie – Senior Vice President, Spin Master and Asis Sethi – CEO & Founder, Fly Away Films to join the Board at this year's Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto AGM.
Laura Clunie – Senior Vice President, Spin Master
Laura Clunie is Senior Vice President of Development, Current Series & Feature Film at Spin Master Entertainment, a global leader in children’s entertainment. Overseeing creative strategy for long-form, short-form, and feature film content, while guiding development of original IP across the company’s portfolio. As a Producer, she leads the creative vision for all greenlit series and theatrical projects.
Over her decade at Spin Master, she has played a central role in the success of the PAW Patrol franchise—shaping the series, its spin-off Rubble & Crew, and producing blockbuster feature films: PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021), PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023), and PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (2026). She also oversees Unicorn Academy on Netflix and Vida the Vet, airing globally.
Previously Laura was VP of Creative Affairs at eOne Family, leading creative on iconic brands Peppa Pig and PJ Masks. She began her career at Chorion Ltd. contributing to Noddy and Olivia the Pig.
Asis Sethi – CEO & Founder, Fly Away Films
Former Playback’s "10 to Watch", Asis Sethi is an award-winning filmmaker, educator, and advocate with over 15 years of experience across broadcasting, film production, and mentorship. Asis is the CEO of Fly Away Films, a dynamic production company with a slate of features, series, and children’s programming. Her work has been supported by Netflix, Paramount, CFC, CBC, Citytv, and OMNI Television.
As the Director of Training at CTMG, Asis led national training and market access initiatives in 2024. Currently, she teaches Film & Television Production at Humber Polytechnic and serves as Co-President of the South Asian Canadian Film Federation (SACFF).
