Last Chance For Discount

It's the final day to take advantage of this special offer for the WIFT-T Feature Film Writing Program. Register for the full program by 5PM and save $45 (members) or $40 (non-members) on course fees!

Through a combination of instruction, analysis and hands-on exercise, this two-part program introduces emerging writers to the major elements of feature film screenwriting. While each course is offered individually, the full program is designed to support writers' progression from concept to outline, treatment or first draft stage.

Instructor | Maureen Dorey, Story Editor/Consultant

Part 1: Discover Your Story
May 4, 11, 18 & 25, 2011
Learn the unique nature of telling stories for the screen. Recommended for emerging writers, Part 1 encourages participants to develop an original concept for a feature film and take that concept to the outline stage. A one-month intermission allows writers to complete an outline or treatment to workshop in Part 2.

Part 2: Define Your Voice

Build stronger characters, tighter scenes and a distinct theme. Recommended for emerging to intermediate writers, Part 2 helps participants delve deeper into their stories and develop a clear trajectory for their first draft.
