The Foundation for Women in Film & Television-Toronto is a registered charity that exists to provide educational opportunities for women in screen-based media, to undertake research on the status of women in the industry, and to recognize the achievements of women in the industry. Bursaries funded through the Foundation allow under-represented women, and women with limited financial means, to attend WIFT-T programs.
