WIFT-T has honoured the extraordinary achievements of women in screen-based media with the annual Crystal Awards celebration for the past 19 years.
On December 3, 2007, the Crystal Awards took place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario.
Since the inception of these coveted awards in 1988, over 70 of Canada's most accomplished women and men working in film, television and new media have been honoured. These outstanding professionals, through their achievements, have played a key role in advancing female talent and encouraging young women to see greater possibilities for their own futures.
