Monday, October 29, 2012

Crystal Van Pelt is the winner of the inaugural Picture Box Television Distribution Mentorship.

Based in Regina, Van Pelt is currently the production manager for a one-hour documentary for CBC’s Doc Zone and recently joined the team at Echolands Creative. Previously, she was a production manager for “MS Wars: Hope, Science & the Internet”—a documentary for The Nature of Things—and produced the documentary On RoughRiders: A Century of Saskatchewan RoughRiders Football. She also produced video content for events and ceremonies during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

Crystal moved to Regina three and a half years ago from Ontario to pursue a career in the film industry. Her experience includes producing many corporate commercials, internal and external corporate videos and various music videos, as well as developing film and television series and talent managing. Her education in finance and media combined with her diverse production experience makes Crystal a well-rounded asset to all productions she participates in.

About the Mentorship
