Kara Swisher is the Co-Executive Editor of AllThingsD.com, a website devoted to news, analysis and opinion on technology, the Internet and media. Kara is also the co-producer and co-host of The Wall Street Journal‘s D: All Things Digital, a major high-tech conference that has featured interviewees such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and other leading players in the tech and media industries. Kara worked in The Wall Street Journal‘s San Francisco bureau where she wrote the column “BoomTown,” which appeared on the front page of the Marketplace section, on The Wall Street Journal Online, and is now available at AllThingsD.com. Follow Kara on Twitter @karaswisher.

Kara  explored global trends in media and technology convergence, drawing on insights from the latest D: All Things Digital and AsiaD conferences. Shefocused on “talentism” on the rise in tech across the globe. The keynote was followed by Q&A, lunch and networking.
