Only active WIFT-T members are eligible to volunteer for WIFT-T programs and events. Exceptions: TIFF Reception, Crystal Awards.
Volunteering qualifies you for programming discounts at a rate of 10% off for every 10 hours worked. Some restrictions apply. Volunteers are responsible for tracking their hours. Volunteers are also placed on our mail-list for complimentary tickets to programming or events in instances when we have unsold seats. These tickets are first-come, first-served and available only while quantities last.

Goodmans Presents is a quarterly panel and networking series exclusively for WIFT-T members. Events feature a consistent line-up of high-profile industry guests and tackle issues relevant to the Canadian screen-based media industry. We require volunteers to assist with set-up, registration, reception hospitality and take-down.

Established in 1988, WIFT-T’s annual Crystal Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Canadian women and men in screen-based media. 2012 marks our 25th anniversary year! We require a large team of volunteers to assist with set-up, registration, hospitality, tech, stage direction and tear-down. Please note: non-members are welcome to volunteer for this event.
