It often appears that comedy is a man’s game—but a closer look at the industry proves otherwise. The landscape of comedy is evolving to incorporate and showcase the female demographic. With the rise of stars like Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig and Samantha Bee, women working in comedy are more visible than ever.

Join fellow WIFT-T members for an exclusive panel and networking event that will explore the expanding presence and impact of women in comedy. Featuring panelists from various sectors of the Canadian comedy industry, this panel will offer valuable insights and industry tips on everything from current trends in comedy, to overcoming stereotypes, to incorporating humour into your work.

A question-and-answer period will follow the formal panel discussion. The evening will conclude with an informal wine and cheese networking reception.
