WIFT-T would like to thank all members who submitted films for consideration to the 2012 Showcase. Submissions are now closed and the Showcase line-up will be revealed in the coming weeks. Filmmakers selected to present at the Showcase receive two complimentary tickets to the event.

Audience Choice Award & Door Prizes

WIFT-T is pleased to present an incredible prize package to the winner of the Audience Choice Award. The winning film is announced during the wine and cheese reception that follows the screening.

Prizes in this year’s Audience Choice Award include: 2012 Toronto Screenwriting Conference pass, MAC Cosmetics gift set, Colio Estate Wines gift set, and additional swag from Korres, Entertainment One, Shaw Media and Kodak.

Every Short Film Showcase guest will be entered into a draw for one of our amazing door prizes, such as a Toronto Screenwriting Conference pass! About the Showcase

Taking place each spring in downtown Toronto, the Short Film Showcase is WIFT-T’s opportunity to celebrate and promote the talent and creativity of our members. Each winter, active WIFT-T members (male and female) are invited to submit recent work for consideration.

The Showcase is attended by industry movers and shakers—including buyers and distributors—as well as our partners, members, featured filmmakers and their guests. The screening is followed by a catered networking reception.

Eligibility

Active WIFT-T member (may join at time of application)
Films must not exceed 20mins in length (including credits)
Films must have been completed after January 1, 2010
Non-English films with dialogue/commentary must be subtitled or dubbed
Films must be fully complete – ‘works in progress’ are not eligible
Entry fees must be submitted with each submission. If you are submitting multiple entries, please ensure they are on separate DVDs
