The William F. White Production Manager Mentorship provides one emerging Canadian female production manager with hands-on training. The successful applicant joins William F. White International Inc. as an intern to learn about production equipment for digital projects, television and film equipment planning, resource management, and budget planning. She spends a total of ten days on site during April 2012 (final dates TBA).

The winner also receives three one-hour mentorship sessions with an experienced female production manager and a programming pass providing access to two modules of the WIFT-T Business Management for Media Professionals Program (see Benefits).

Eligibility

• A Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant or Permanent Resident
• WIFT-T member in good standing (may join at time of application)
• An emerging Canadian production manager with no more than three years of experience
• Able to participate in all mentorship activities
• Able to complete a final report within two weeks of mentorship completion

Applications are reviewed by a selection committee of William F. White staff, WIFT-T staff, and other industry representatives. The recipient will be announced by January 30, 2012.
