Needed: Outgoing, enthusiastic WIFT-T Ambassadors  

This October, WIFT-T will host the International Women in Digital Media Summit (iWDMS) in Stratford, Ontario. The iWDMS will bring together traditional and digital media communities, as well as educational/research institutions, to explore innovation, skills gaps, policy and research in the areas of gaming, mobile, social media and transmedia.

Help spread the word about this exciting event by acting as a WIFT-T Ambassador at the 2011 North by North East NXPO, June 15 – 17.

Each volunteer will work with a WIFT-T staff member and will be given training about the event. Volunteers are required for the following shifts:  

Wednesday June 15
Shift 1 | 11AM – 4PM
Shift 2 | 4PM – 9PM

Thursday June 16
Shift 1 | 11AM – 3PM
Shift 2 | 3PM – 7PM  

Friday June 17
Shift 1 | 11AM – 3PM
Shift 2 | 3PM – 7PM  

Location | Hyatt Regency Toronto, 370 King St. West

If you are an active WIFT-T member and interested in volunteering, please send an email to volunteers@wift.com with your resume attached and your preferred shifts indicated. Please note you are welcome to sign-up for more than one session (preference will be given to those who are available for two or more shifts).  

Volunteer hours can be put toward most courses at the rate of 10% off for every ten hours worked. Restrictions apply.
