Debi Goodwin has more than 20 years’ experience as a CBC journalist. For ten years, she produced foreign documentaries for The National and traveled to El Salvador, China, the Middle East and Africa.

Last September, Doubleday Canada published Citizens of Nowhere, Debi’s non-fiction account of eleven refugee students in Kenya whom she followed through their first year on scholarships to Canada.

As well this year, Debi directed a half-hour program for Vision TV called In the Name of Enlightenment, exploring the sexual misconduct of one of the leading Buddhist teachers in the world.
