Back to Astral Media Mentorship

Norma Mendoza

Norma Mendoza is a dynamic young producer who continually pushes the artistic envelope to create relevant and entertaining original content.

Her producing credits include Nickelodeon’s record-setting live-action TV series Dino Dan and the Gemini Award-winning TVO series The Ocean Room. Most recently, she produced BITE TV’s much-anticipated comedy series Papillon, starring Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall.

Norma is in development on two international television series and two feature film projects. She can also be found traveling the festival circuit with her short dramatic film hangnail—a cinematic force that Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis has described as “very powerful” and “wonderful filmmaking.”

Norma moved to Toronto after graduating from Queen’s University and began her industry involvement through projects with the Canadian Film Centre and Barna Alper Productions.

She is honoured to have been chosen for the Astral Media Mentorship and is thrilled to be working with WIFT-T and its associates.
