Responsibilities

• Manage team of chase producers for CTV News Channel
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Chase guests and stories for CTV News Channel
• Participate in story planning meetings
• Field producing remotes
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Thrive under pressure
• In-depth knowledge of domestic and international news and current affairs
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel and inews
• Excellent communication skills
• French language skills an asset
• Demonstrated ability to originate coverage on developing stories including populist trends and features
• Strength in use of video in story telling
• Enthusiastic about breaking news coverage
