Annual General Meeting

Our 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place Thursday May 12, 7:00PM EDT at Deluxe Postproduction (424 Adelaide St. E, Toronto) for the following purposes:

1. To elect directors for the ensuing year.
2. To appoint Fruitman Kates as auditors for the ensuing year.
3. To transact such further and other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM; however, voting for the Board of Directors is restricted to Full members.

Keynote Presentation | Susan Annis

Susan AnnisExecutive Director
Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC)

WIFT-T is pleased to welcome Susan Annis, Executive Director of the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC), as keynote presenter at our 2011 AGM.

Susan will speak on recommendations identified in the recently-released Cultural Sector HR Studynotably those related to the film and television, broadcasting, and digital media industriesand those that are taking shape in CHRC’s Study on the Impact of Emerging Digital Technologies in the Cultural Sector.

She will also talk about CHRC’s specific undertakings in the film and television industry, such as the development of Set Safety and Set Etiquette standards.

WIFT-T Board Announces Nomination Slate

The WIFT-T Board of Directors is pleased to support the nomination of the following candidates for election to the Board:

Jade Raymond, Managing Director, Ubisoft Toronto Inc.
Joanna Webb, Senior VP Programming, CTV

The slate was developed after soliciting input from the WIFT-T membership. Only WIFT-T Full members are eligible to serve on the Board.
