Back to Life is Better Animated

Christin Simms has loved making up stories since she was a little girl but it wasn’t until she was a teenager and got a job in television production, photocopying scripts by some of the best writers in Canada, that Christin decided to turn her passion for storytelling into an actual career.

Maybe it was the radiation. Or maybe it was sheer talent and determination. But ever since graduating from the School of Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University in 2002, Christin has worked on a number of productions, doing more than just photocopying.

Christin wrote, story edited and creative produced on Sinking Ship’s pre-historic adventure series Dino Dan–which had the number one rated premiere of all time on Nick Jr. Most recently, Christin has been producing, executive story editing and writing on the prime time animated series Producing Parker.
