Domestic and International Content Marketing will illustrate the importance of marketing and sales to a content producer’s bottom line. Through an in-depth analysis of the distribution process, the course examines how content creators can get the best return from partnerships with international distributors and/or content platforms.

Participants receive insight on effective sales materials, from a “stop-them-in-their-tracks” proposal to email marketing. Real-life examples will be deconstructed and discussed. A review of the distribution process will include the sales and marketing cycle, as well as key distribution agreement terms and conditions. The realities of return are front and centre when projections for various genres are reviewed.
