Each year, the Crystal Awards bring together close to 600 industry, government and media professionals from across the country to celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in Canadian screen-based media.

Since 1988, more than 90 remarkable women and men have received these coveted awards, including Shirley Douglas (’09), Sandra Oh (’07), Kim Cattrall (’04), Deepa Mehta (’03), Pamela Wallin (’97) and Trina McQueen (’96). Many of today’s senior executives are recipients of a Crystal Award.

Nominations for the 2010 Crystal Awards are now open. WIFT-T invites its members to nominate an exceptional candidate, with a minimum of 10 years experience in screen-based media, by completing a 2010 Crystal Awards Nomination Form.
