This was one of the strongest programs I have ever taken—especially working with a story editor. I will apply again and again!

Having an objective, outside eye like Marguerite Pigott’s has been instrumental in helping me see the story in a new light. Her questions have deepened the theme and strengthened the key characters’ motivations. All in all, I feel the story has both more clarity and more nuance as a result of our work together.

As a result of the Incubator, Deborah Ellis has already delivered three revisions of our script and we have had great sessions with our Story Editor—Margaret Glover. We have also redeveloped our web site and our marketing material for presentation. We plan to present the script and the opportunity for investment, in the next few weeks, to qualified investors and potential producing partners.

The WIFT program introduced us to some very important business, legal, and production relevant contacts. In the weeks following the program, we have met with a VFX post-production house recommended to us through the program and have also kept in touch with several of the other producers and directors.
