Eva Ziemsen is a Professor and Program Co-Coordinator of Film & Television Production at Humber College. She started her career as an independent filmmaker in Toronto and founded Cineva Films, through which she has written, directed and produced several short films that have screened and been distributed internationally. While living in Europe and Australia, Eva established an international network of co-producers with whom she continues to collaborate and develop feature films and documentaries.

Eva holds a Masters of Arts in Feature Film from Goldsmiths College, University of London, England. As faculty mentor, she accompanied a group of students to produce two documentaries in Rwanda as part of the CIDA Millennium Project in 2007. She attends the Berlin Film Festival and the European Film Market on an annual basis. Eva is in development on three feature films, is writing a self-help book on creative careers, and offers consultation in various areas of film.
