A washed up 1940s detective enlists an old girlfriend and ex-partner for a last chance to save his career. But when their simple case of domestic abuse turns into a corporate cover-up of global proportion, this detective duo begins to realize that they may be in over their heads. Who will expose “The Dirty Truth” in this mock trailer of a film noir comedy about climate change?

A graduate from Centennial College’s Radio and Television Broadcasting Program, Terri Catlin worked at CityTV for many years as a television story producer/director for several award-winning lifestyle shows, including CityLine, House & Home, Canadian Living Television and So Chic. In 2005, Terri made her first short film, Wishful Thinking*. The film was selected for three international festivals and won a Silver Remy at Houston WorldFest for Short Romantic Comedy.
The Dirty Truth – The Trailer is Terri’s second short film, made with a cast and crew committed to raising awareness about climate change. This mock trailer is the first step in creating three 30 minute comedy shorts and combining them for release as a full length feature. Terri Catlin was born Terri Michelle Leduc in Val D’or, Quebec and moved to Toronto at age three.
*This film and all previous television work were done under the name Michelle Leduc.
