Tracey Jennings is a Corporate Tax partner in the Toronto office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and is the national leader of the firm’s Entertainment & Media (E&M) practice. Tracey has worked extensively with multinational and Canadian-based E&M clients in the broadcasting, film production and distribution, and newspaper sectors, and has provided international advice to multinational Canadian-based insurance clients since 1997.

Tracey has advised a wide variety of clients from smaller independent producers to large multinational corporations in the areas of tax planning, compliance, and international tax. She specializes in tax structuring advice on acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures for large Canadian and foreign based multinationals. She also provides tax advice relating to Canadian and international operations of public and private companies, including implementation and restructuring of financing structures into the US; tax advice for Canadian and foreign company IPOs; and tax planning including technical advice on Canadian tax, corporate reorganizations, foreign affiliates, tax compliance, and Canada Revenue Agency audit defense.

Tracey is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and a Chartered Accountant. She has more than 18 years’ experience working with PwC and has spoken at numerous industry events, tutored at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course and is currently the Tax Learning and Education Leader for PwC Canada.
