Women in Film & Television – Toronto (WIFT-T) is pleased to announce Jensenne Roculan as the winner of the 2009 Deluxe Producers Internship.

“This internship fills a crucial gap in the industry,” says Sadia Zaman, Executive Director of WIFT-T. “The opportunity to learn about audio and video post-production at Deluxe is a real gift. We look forward to working with both Jensenne and Deluxe to make this internship a valuable learning experience.”

After making her mark with the student award-winning documentary, Fight Like A Girl, Jensenne Roculan joined Copperheart Entertainment as an assistant producer for film and television ventures, including Vincenzo Natali’s Splice, and the hugely successful TV series Flashpoint. Currently, Jensenne works on television development and handles business affairs at Copperheart Entertainment. She is a graduate of the Media Arts program at Sheridan College.

“I am incredibly grateful to both WIFT-T and Deluxe for giving me the opportunity to learn hands-on about post-production,” says Jensenne. “With this internship, I hope to gain a solid understanding of what post encompasses and how to tackle the challenges that come with it.”

The Deluxe Producers Internship provides one Canadian female producer with hands-on pre and post production training. The successful applicant joins Deluxe as an intern to learn about production equipment planning and requirements, and post-production video, film and sound. She spends a total of three weeks on site participating in the intensive training program.
