Please note the 2010 WIFT-T Media Leadership Program is complete and bursaries are no longer available.
Bursary applicants must meet the admission criteria for the WIFT-T Media Leadership Program. Bursaries cannot be used for any other purpose. Please note bursary applicants are not required to submit a general application form in addition to the bursary application form.
All bursaries below covered $1000 of program fees and were made available through the Foundation for Women in Film & Television – Toronto for the 2010 program.
Broadcast
This bursary is for a woman who works in any sector of broadcasting. Three bursaries are available.
Small Screen-Based Company
A woman in a small screen-based company (maximum five employees) may apply for this bursary. One bursary is available.
Freelancer
An independent contractor in the screen-based industry may apply for this bursary. One woman will be selected for this bursary.
Career Transition
This bursary is for a mid-to-senior woman in the film and television industry who is unemployed. One bursary is available.
Underrepresented Groups
This bursary is for a mid-to-senior woman who is a visible minority, disabled, or Aboriginal in the screen-based industry.
