Testimonials for the 2008 WIFT-T Media Leadership Program

“It’s been over a year and a half since I completed the WIFT Media Leadership Program and I look back on the experience with much enthusiasm. The course successfully brought together many aspects of leadership and management – current practices as well as looking ahead to new challenges and opportunities in this industry, be they economic, technological or legislative. The program supported the acquisition of knowledge as well as the development of practical strategies and tools. The breadth of experience of the instructors and the participants lead to fascinating discussions and, sometimes, lively debates. The program remains one of the best professional development experiences that I’ve had.” Susan Cohen, Digital Learning

“This course introduced me to an incredible group of people with a range of expertise truly representative of this diverse and complex industry. The sessions were both thought provoking and informative – I leave armed with practical knowledge that can be readily applied to my day-to-day work.”

“Really like the reframing exercise and exploring elements below the surface – symbolic & human performance.”

“They (the instructors) introduced the concept and then immediately gave the opportunity to apply the learning in our break-out groups with a real example.”

“As I am going through the program, I am envisioning recommendations to others who will benefit.”
