The WIFT-T Career Transition Program is the first program developed for mid to senior level professionals coping with the technological, economic and structural changes in the screen-based industry. The program will enhance participants’ ability to find suitable work, and will facilitate their career transition within and outside film, television and other screen-based media.

The WIFT-T Career Transition Program takes place over six consecutive Wednesdays, from 9 AM – 5 PM, beginning September 22, 2010. All sessions are held in downtown Toronto and are accessible by public transportation. Specific venue details are to be announced.

How to Apply

Complete a Programming Registration Form and attach your resume. You must provide one reference, including contact information, from the screen-based media industry.

Application Deadline | July 30, 2010

All applications are reviewed by a committee of WIFT-T staff and other screen-based media professionals. Please note that enrollment is limited to 25 participants. Once a candidate is accepted to the program, they will be guided through registration and the pre-work required before program commencement.

Program Fees

Cost | WIFT-T members $729 (+ HST), Non-members $829 (+ HST)
Application Fee | A $50 administration fee, paid by credit card or cheque, will be required to process your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received; however, WIFT-T recognizes some individuals may need to discuss a payment plan. Please contact Heather Kanabe at hjkanabe@wift.com.

Cancellation Policy

Accepted applicants who provide notice of cancellation three weeks before the course start date may receive a complete refund. No refunds can be granted after that date. Please note the application fee is non-refundable.
